A celebrated tradition since 2004, the Captains’ Club Auction benefits the ECHL Health and Welfare Trust
The Professional Hockey Players’ Association (PHPA) and ECHL, in conjunction with The MeiGray Group, are excited to announce the annual ECHL-PHPA-MeiGray Captains’ Club Game-Worn Jersey Auction is now live at MeiGrayAuctions.com.
First launched in 2004, the Captains’ Club Jersey Auction supports the ECHL Health and Welfare Trust, which provides vital resources to ECHL players and their families.
This year’s auction showcases captain jerseys from all 29 ECHL teams, each worn during the 2024-25 season. Bidding will begin to close at 9 p.m. ET on Thursday, November 13, 2025.
“This auction is a meaningful way for fans and collectors to engage with the game while helping strengthen the support network available to our ECHL Members,” said PHPA Executive Director Brian Ramsay. “Our Captains embody leadership both on and off the ice, often guiding their teammates toward the resources and assistance that make a real difference.”
“As professional hockey continues to grow throughout the world, so does the importance of giving back,” said MeiGray President Barry Meisel. “The long tradition of the Captain’s Club Auction proves the partnership commitment of the PHPA, MeiGray and the ECHL is as strong as ever.”
MeiGray has collaborated with the ECHL and the PHPA since 2001 and authenticates for several sport franchises across the NHL, NBA, and NFL.
