The Professional Hockey Players’ Association (PHPA) and the American Hockey League (AHL) announced today that they have agreed to terms on a tentative new collective bargaining agreement.
The proposed agreement is subject to ratification by the PHPA’s AHL membership and approval by the AHL Board of Governors.

Two players have been suspended for 20 games for violating the terms of the AHL/PHPA Performance Enhancing Substance Program.
The PHPA’s American Hockey League membership has ratified a new collective bargaining agreement, which will be in effect through the conclusion of the 2029-30 season.
